The New Jerusalem Bible (NJB) is a Catholic translation of the Bible that was first published in 1985. Widely recognized as the primary Roman Catholic Bible outside of the United States, the NJB carries the imprimatur of Cardinal George Basil Hume, ensuring its conformity to Catholic doctrine.

In line with its predecessor, the Jerusalem Bible, the NJB maintains a faithful translation from the original Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic texts. The 1973 French translation, known as the Bible de Jerusalem, is consulted only when multiple interpretations are possible. While the introductions and notes have been slightly modified, they are predominantly derived from the esteemed Bible de Jerusalem.
